The importance of creative expression is paramount at the Horizons Association of Schools. Our unique Opportunities Program offers exciting classes of a more artistic, hands-on vein, where students can learn to experiment and create with traditional artistic and technological mediums including photography and web design. The primary emphasis upon mastery of the skills covered in the Horizons academic curriculum is not dropped or lessened with the addition of these creative learning opportunities. We find that when students are excited about these classes, they make more productive use of their academic time in order to have more time to be creative.
